Half Life 2

Half-Life 2 is a science fiction first-person shooter computer game and the sequel to the highly acclaimed Half-Life. It was developed by Valve Corporation and was released on November 16, 2004, following a protracted five-year,$40 million development cycle during which the games source code was leaked to the Internet. The game uses the Source game engine, which includes a heavily modified version of the Havok physics engine. Originally available only for Windows-based personal computers, the game has since been ported to the Xbox, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 video game consoles. Half-Life 2: Lost Coast

Half-Life 2: Lost Coast is an additional level for the 2004 first-person shooter video game Half-Life 2. Developed by Valve Software, it was released on October 27, 2005 through the Steam content delivery service as a free download to owners of the Microsoft Windows version of Half-Life 2. Lost Coast serves as a technology demonstration, specifically showcasing the high dynamic range rendering implemented in the Source engine. The level was designed with a variety of appropriate environments to emphasize these effects. In addition, Lost Coast was the first video game developed by Valve to allow developers to explain various elements of design as the player progresses through the level.

BITCOMET & Utorrent SPEED PATCH! Download speeds faster than what you pay your ISP! No JOKE!

Posted on 02 November 2008 by Patrick

Hey,

Are you tired of waiting for days or months for your torrent to finally download on to your PC? Have you tried changing from Client to Client seeing which one works best? It isn’t the Bit Client that is causing the problems, the problem is Windows Service Pack 2.

The link to download the patch is:

http://rapidshare.com/files/11729804…tch223d-en.rar

1. Hack the max half-open TCP connections
Update: this tweak is NOT recommended if you use uTorrent >1.7, it may lead to unstable behavior.

If you’re on XP sp2, your TCP connections are limited to a maximum of 10. This seriously hurts your downloading speed because it wont let you connect to a high amount of ip numbers. It is supposed to slow down viruses because their spreading strategy is to connect to a high amount of ip numbers, but it also cripples your torrent downloads.
A nice way to fix this is to download this patch (at the bottom of this post) , it allows you to set the maximum allowed connections to any number you want. Any number between 50 and 100 is ok (more is NOT always better).

2. Configure your torrent client to allow 50-100 max half-open TCP connections
uTorrent: Options > Preferences > Advanced options > net.max_halfopen

Bitcomet: Options > Preferences > Connection > max half-open TCP

Now you’re ready to go…

This works 100%! If your download speeds do not increase, check your current bandwidth activity or contact your ISP.

The link to download the patch is:

Cheers!

PSP 3.80 M33 on My Computer! Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core

Posted on 12 July 2008 by Patrick

This video displays me playing a few basic missions of “Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core” on my PC. I am using my PSP Slim as a Joystick, my PC Monitor only replaces the screen.

This video was recorded with “CamStudio”

To use your PC Monitor while playing your PSP, go to this link (YOU MUST BECOME A MEMBER OF www.pspiso.com TO SEE THIS THREAD)(it’s worth it XD)

http://pspiso.com/showthread.php?&amp…

I already beat Crisis Core (if you notice Zack’s Level is 52), I am playing the “New Game Plus” option to finish some missions I hadn’t done.

When I was playing the game on my PC, it looked great but it ran a bit slower. But when I had finished recording the video, the video quality was reduced and the Frame Rate was much faster, sorry for that.

This video is to show the advantages that Custom Firmware has above official Sony Firmware.
